Children and Youth Ministries
When the disciples attempted to prevent the children from coming to Jesus, He rebuked them, saying, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven,” (Matthew 19:14, ESV).
AWANA clubs meet Sundays at 5:30 pm during the school year. AWANA's goal is to reach children with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Children age 3 - grade 6 memorize Bible verses and study God's Word. Game time is a highlight of everyone's night! Our yearly events include crazy hair night, the AWANA store, the pine wood derby Grand Prix, and the awards night.
In today's post-modern youth culture, teens crave something genuine and worthy of their commitment. Our goal is to communicate clearly the gospel of Jesus Christ to teens, to lovingly provide an environment that enhances spiritual growth through small groups, worship and teaching, and to equip and encourage students to live a life of service for the Lord. Whether we're learning to apply the truth of God's Word, playing one of the lively games, or just hanging out, we always have an awesome time! The group meets regularly at 5:00 pm Sept. - June, though summer events are also planned.
Our church family loves children, and they are welcome to attend the morning worship service. Little Church is available for ages 4 - grade 3. The Discipleland curriculum introduces children to God, His character, His plan for His people, and the major people and themes of His Word.
